I just picked up a NM-8a/s module to build a frame relay switch with. I have the following units with NM slots in them and wanted some feedback as to which one would be the best choice for the task.
1. Cisco 3620 64D/8F IOS 12.2
2. Cisco 2611 64D/16F IOS 12.3
3. Cisco 2621 32D/8F IOS 12.0T
I'm leaning towards using the 3620 in case my lab expands to the point of needing another NM-8a/s.
Thanks.

alxx Member Posts: 755I'm doing the same, picked up 2x nm8a/s (thanks to sir_samon) , a nm4t and a nm4a/s.
I'm using a 2611xm for one frame switch and either a 3640 or 3660 for the other.Goals CCNA by dec 2013, CCNP by end of 2014 -

I read that both support 12.4 / SDM, but can't decide which one to pick.2015 goals - ccna voice / vmware vcp.
