Study Guide for new material

Can anyone tell me what I'm supposed to do about new changes posted for 2012? Is there new reference material out that covers the domain name change, the domain order re-arrange, and the rewording of some domain subheadings plus new material?

I just started studying last week, using the Eric Conrad book and trying to find the best videos, any suggestions there?

    For the CISSP?

The (ISC)2 Official CBK for the CISSP is the book used as a primary reference for the exam questions. And there is the information in the 2012 CISSP Candidate Information Bulletin.

Most of it comes down to changing the names of the domains to reflect current naming conventions rather than the content itself. In other words, not much more than changing the names of a couple of domains. The material itself is always changing. Probably a little more emphasis on forensics type questions and possibly additional reference to PCI-DSS and other frameworks.

What JD and beads said. The changes are not radical (mostly cosmetic) so there's not much to be worried about. All material from Harris, Conrad etc is still valuable.

The CISSP is exam is probably more fluid than most other cert exams. Because 25 of the 250 exam items are for testing how candidates will answer them, the exams are probably revised somewhat after each 500-1000 exam booklets that are printed to swap-in different research items, and possibly add new exam items as well. I'm just guessing at this, but it seems reasonable for both research and security.
