Our vCenter VM crapped out while migrating the database. Had to restore it using vDR. Rather interesting experience. For those who haven't had the pleasure here are the steps:
1. Blame the network guy
2. Find the host vDR is running on (setup affinity rule to limit search)
3. Remove said host from vCenter (Summary > Host Management > Disassociate from vCenter)
4. Log into vDR
5. Restore vCenter
6. Blame the network guy
