Juniper MVRP issue on EX4200 switch with SFP ports

For the experts in the house, I don't know if anyone has had experience with MVRP in juniper switches which is similar to VTP in cisco switches. I have configured all parameters based on my knowledge and somehow the switches are not sharing vlan information but they are sending mrpdu.

In JunOS MVRP really just performs VLAN pruning, doesn't actually share VLAN info in the same fashion VTP does. If you're looking for vlan creation automation so you don't have to define VLANs on each switch, that currently doesn't exist.

A lot of people would argue that VTP shouldn't really deployed just because of the security vulnerabilities you're introducing, such as wiping out your entire vlan database.

With that said, I have seen some scripts people have created so that you can automate VLAN creation from a master switch, but that requires the master switch to have permissions to all of the children switches which may introduce other vulnerabilities obviously.

I will just rather configure the vlans on each virtual chassis.
