So after 6 long months (really longer "years") trying to break into the IT field, I was able to land a long term temp to perm position. Been here for a almost 2months, before this I had to take on 1day - 2 weeks IT side projects. Thanks everyone for the encouragement, still a long ways to go...but at lest Im gaining corp experience and really getting my feet wet.

I currently have no certs, I was actually prepared to take the A+ exam...but then found out it, would cost 300+ to take both test. So im thinking about studying/taking the 70-680 exam... I'm a career changer, was in the financial field.
