The book I'm reading states that serial interfaces should be configured with the bandwidth command to ensure accurate calculation of EIGRP metrics; it says it should match the speed of the interface.
I'm curious, if the link in question were a 768k circuit over a T1 interface if the bandwidth should be configured as 1540000 (based on the interface) or 768000 (based on the link speed).

Also note that the bandwidth command is in Kbps.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made.
