cme gui adding phones

how do i add phones on the cme gui. I click the add button under configure>phones. I get the popup with the phone id mac address i click add. I get a popup to save I click ok. But i still dont see the phone on the main page even after i refresh it.

Solution: i had to hardcode the macaddress to each ephone number.
