ISC2 Endorsement Question(s)
Hi all, sorry of this has been posted somewhere else...
I noticed that if you cannot find a person who can endorse you for an ISC2 exam, you can submit yourself to be endorsed by ISC2 directly. On the form they provide for this, I saw the following statement, "Please consider finding a qualified member to endorse you by using any of the following resources: (ISC)2 Member Directory, ISSA chapters, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter."
Does this mean that the person endorsing you doesn't have to work with you directly? I thought they had to be somebody in the organization you have worked with, or was this more of an "ideal" situation?

swild Member Posts: 828That is the ideal situation, however, if you send your CV to a CISSP, they can verify your experience with a couple of phone calls to your (previous) employer(s).
