I decided to take the plunge and set the date: 7/23 (20 days before my 30th birthday). Hopefully I'll have my degree AND my CISSP completed by my birthday!
So far, I've read: AIO CISSP (Hated it) and have watched the Shaun Harris and the CBK Nugget videos. I'm getting about 70-80% on quizzes which is fine because I still have a lot of material to work from.
Here's my schedule for the next three months:
April - Read CISSP CBK
May - Attending CISSP bootcamp for a week and reading CISSP for Dummies
June/July - Read the 11th Hour CISSP book and run through every CCure practice test I can
I think with all the extra material and pushing myself, I can easily go from "barely passing" to "flying colors."

jabney Member Posts: 61 ■■■□□□□□□□Wish you the best of luck on the test. I' just started online classes given by ISC for CISSP twice a week for 8 to 10 weeks. We're using the ISC CISSP CBK handbook and so far it's going OK. I'm hoping to schedule my test around the June time frame.
I'm also trying to get finished with WGU within the year which may be a stretch as i have 14 classes left. -

I'm reading 25 pages a day on the CISSP CBK. I've got about 200 pages done as of today and only 650 more to go. Even if I get lazy for a couple days, I should have it completed around the week of the CISSP bootcamp.
