2801 VS 2811 for IE lvl voice lab

Im looking to put together a CCNP Voice level lab and eventually IE. Whats the benefit of going with 2811s vs 2801s? Is there something the 2811s can do that the 2801 cant? Also, which IOS should i be running? I heard the IE lab uses all 12.x version IOS on their routers. Who knows if that will be the same in a year or two?

Too early to tell about future IE IOS revisions – the 2800 are getting real close to EOL as far as IOS support (CME 9.x is already only supported on 29xx and above) but I’m guessing we won’t see a radical change anytime soon.
