Prim Router question
Hello all,
I have a design question. Lets say you have one site that is part of a larger organization. This one site has a Prim router > Firewall > Switch > users . Wouldn't you want your prim router inside the firewall? The larger organization does have IDS / IPS systems prior to getting outside to the public network but for each individual sites would it be unnecessary to have a firewall on the prim of that site?
