Windows Server Hostname whitelist
Is there a way for a Windows Server 2008 to drop connections from unapproved hostnames?
I was thinking somekind of whitelist either through the built-in firewall or through a external application.

Can't do hostnames with Windows Firewall, only IPs and IP ranges.
Forefront TMG is the Microsoft solution to do what you want. Lots of other 3rd party options out there too. You typically wouldn't do this at an individual host level though...
