Microsoft Office Specialist Certification worth the trouble?
I’m just wondering if the Microsoft exams are worth the trouble?
Do employers like seeing office certs on a resume?
Would, Outlook, Excel, and Word be the more popular exams to take?
Which path is the best to take 2007 or 2010?
I’m still studying for the 70-680, however; I’m going to take the 70-680 test in May. I might do some office certs later this year, if they are worth the trouble and easy to knock out.
Are there practice tests? How many questions does a MOS exam have?

They offer very little in the way of value for money - they used to be cheaper but they bumped up the price and made the value for money even worse... You would be better going for 70-680 & the Server 2012 exams when they come out in a few months time IMO... you could still go through videos from Lynda.com to get a better understanding of features though

I will never do it again though. 90% of the support I provide is for Access and Excel so for me it helped me get this job, but I agree that 680 will give you a better chance of landing a high tech job.
If you feel the need to get one I would go for 2010.
