2950 Cisco swicth output -- Spanning-tree---

Hello,

I am currently working through some labs, and at the moment I am going through the Spanning-tree section. I have a question in the regards to the output that I am getting on my 2950 switch.

When I type:

#show spanning-tree


The table at the bottom that shows the interface status does not show the "Role" section that should state the the following:

"Role"
Des
Root
Altn

The rest of the fields can be seen, such as:

Sts Cost Prio.Nbr Type
FWD 19 128.1 P2p
FWD 19 128.23 P2p
FWD 19 128.24 P2p




is there any way that I can activate this to appear.

I think if you do either "show spanning-tree active" or "show spanning-tree detail" you should get the ports. Or so "show spanning-tree interface interface" for each interface and there you would see each port.
