Any tips for software engineering internship interview

I am an MIS major and have little experience in programming. I can see myself doing that type of developing work however.
I have an interview with a big company next week for a software engineering internship for this Summer. I am afraid my lack of knowledge and experience in programming will hurt me.
With my limited time (my interview is on Friday), what technical topics (like loops, if statements etc) should I research that could help me answer technical questions during an interview? Keep in mind that this is for an internship position so they will only ask me questions about the basics of software engineering.
I want to prepare myself for this interview as I REALLY want this position because I know they offer full time employment upon graduation. I would like to be a systems analyst & project manager (which requires less programming) if this helps.

halaakajan Member Posts: 167read stuff on system development life cycle and some basic queries of SQL. read some forums i will recommend stackoverflow for common interview questions. people who succeed in a profession are those who love what they do. start loving programming. find some part time clients and make softwares for them or start your own side project.

davidboy Member Posts: 66 ■■□□□□□□□□I already know quite a bit about the SDLC (though more about the planning & analysis phases). I actually worked on a project up to the end of the analysis phase and have a report with the feasibility analysis, project plan, use cases, & DFDs. Should I print this 60 page report and bring it with me to show that I have experience with the SDLC from this class project?
Also I thought SQL was only needed for databases? I know some basic commands such as "select * from ...", "delete from", insert into" etc.. But is this knowledge necessary for software engineering?
