WTB Intel Xeon 5300 for Dell PowerEdge 2900
I have an old Dell PowerEdge 2900 that I'd like to add a second cpu to. When I run cpu-z, it says the processor is a Xeon DP 5050 (dempsey) at 3.0Ghz. Google-fu is failing me. Ideas?

Are you sure? Since CPU-Z is hardly ever wrong, if it can't identify it correctly it will normally tell you. The Dell PowerEdge 2900 motherboard will take quad core xeon 5300 or dual core 5050. Assuming this is what you have then specs are:

Am I sure that Dell GF677 is a dual core? Well thats what all the search results say. Or are you asking if I am sure about something else? -
