I passed the Security+ (TSV1) with a score of 813/900. I used the following learning resources:
  1. Labsim
  2. Professor Messer Security+ videos
As I was going through the Labsim modules. I did not take ANY of the exams at the end of the modules. Also, I did not take any notes. However, when I started with the Professor Messer videos - I created flash cards from all of the videos. Once I was done with that - I took a practice test from CompTIA's website.

My exam had port, virus, malware and ALOT of cryptography / hashing questions.
