Hey I am studying for my CCNA using Todd's book and I plan on taking the ICND1 and 2 exams. I wanted to know whether there were certain chapters to read for the ICND1 and 2 or should I just read all the way through?

i would suggest going to cisco.com/go/cca and seeing what topics are covered on icdn 1 and 2. or pick up the cisco press books also since they have books for icdn 1 and 2 and not just ccna in one big book.

For the 7th edition here is the break down

    ICND1 chapters: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16

    ICND2 chapters: 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16

    CCNA composite, obviously all chapters.
