CCNP ROUTE Passed...By a whisker!!
Passed with an 801... Sheesh!!
I had a few more sims than I was assuming I would.... Holy Moly!!
I could have sworn one of the sims had a bug in it, as I was 95% sure I had the (very basic) config right, but could not accomplish the specific connectivity task that was the whole point of the sim.
I was under the misconception there would be 2 sims, so I spent 30 minutes on this second sim.. At then end, found myself hitting the last sim with 20 minutes left, and another 14 questions to go after the sim. And the sim crashed... Had to sweat whether or not I was going to lose any time due to the crash..
I have never been so sure that I was going to fail a test in my life, and it was a pretty cool feeling when I saw the "Congratulations!" come up...
Now, I am by no means proud of this score, and know that I need to strengthen quite a few areas, but felt I did well considering the time time crunch I was under..
Anywho...
I used both the OCG and the FLG for my reading, plus CBT Nuggets.. I labbed all the way through the Cisco Lab Manual twice, but felt I should have done more labwork still. I felt fairly comfortable with redistribution, but should have put more work into Path Control and IPv6, for sure..

mattau Member Posts: 218I had the same problem and im pretty sure I know what sim you're referring to. I was not impressed at all in the exam room as I know I had the config 100% correct. Hey a pass is a pass. By no means does it reflect your knowledge ( who knows how many bugs are in the cisco exam sims - from general observations ..ALOT. )_____________________________________

I remember one config from the ROUTE exam that I couldn't get connectivity. I thought it was just me.
Good luck on the next one. -
