Network + 005 passed, materials I used
So yesterday I passed the 005 exam after delaying a bit, wanted to make sure I passed. $250 for the exam was something I did not want to waste. But my fears did calm down, scored 890 on it. I used the Mike Meyers book(read it twice) and went thru all the Professor Messer videos, which are extremely helpful.
My biggest concern was subnetting which I studied extra hard for but never got a single question on it. Did anyone else experience this also, no questions on subnetting.

They must have changed the exam a good bit. I seem to remember my exam having subnetting all over it. -

Darril Member Posts: 1,588Congrats on the pass. Even though you may not have seen direct questions related to subnetting, the knowledge is valuable if you ever work in a network that uses Classless IPs. That's relatively common in larger networks.
Good luck on your next adventure. -
