With the changes to MCSA/MCSE

Is it even worthwhile to go for the MCITP: EA? Luckily I haven't gotten far and am currently studying the 70-640, would it be better off to just go the SA route and get the MCSA, then go for the MCSE? I'd really be ticked to have to take 2 more tests (Already took 70-680) and be at the same level as a SA and not have that distinction between the two.
So go the SA route, or spend more time and money and go for the EA? (Where I'm at currently I'm at least a year from getting the EA, less than that for the SA)

I think then I'll go and take the 70-646, and if the MCITP EA gives me anything extra, then I'll go and pick up the last 2 tests for that if need be. But I think after looking over all the changes, it won't truly delay me much on my future path to wrap up the SA and get that first.
