question about cisco access server and securecrt
BGP
Good day all,
I don’t know how to setup my securecrt to let me start multiple TAPS Sessions through my serial cable (I have no Ethernet connection to my access server just octal cable which is using COM3)
Is it possible to open multiple sessions to my router through console cable ?
If yes please let me know how.
Thanks a lot

My understanding of access servers, was that the octal cable connects from the access server to the console ports of your devices. In order to connect to each end device, you would telnet using the appropriate port to your access server. This method would allow multiple tabs because you would be opening multiple telnet sessions.
If you are just connecting via console cable to your access server, that is only one session and will only open one tab in SecureCRT.
