Looking for a good online training course for Microsoft SQL
Hi everyone,
My wife has recently expressed an interest in learning SQL for business purposes, not administrative purposes. I would categorize her as an absolute beginner, with very little, to no experience in databases.
Does anyone have any good online training courses they could recommend? Something instructor led would be ideal.

Amazon.com: Sams Teach Yourself Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL in 10 Minutes (9780672328671): Ben Forta: Books
You can set her up with a VM hoisting Adventureworks DB or similar and she can begin writing queries against that.
She could ask questions on the SQL Team site or on Database Administrators - Stack Exchange. This forum being geared to certification is not really the best place for SQL query questions, generally speaking.
But really the online classes for T-SQL are geared either to admins or developers and not to business users. That book and a test environment would certainly get her well on her way to understanding the fundamentals, though. -

http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-SQL-Joes-Pros-Beginners/dp/143925317X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1336055478&sr=8-2
And you can get a developer edition of SQL for like 50 bucks to play with.
