So what's up with the Cisco sales certifications?

Are they hard to obtain? Do they amount to anything?

Just wondering, sales is something I have always enjoyed.

Any 411 on these certs?

    I've taken a few. From my experience, they are most valued by Cisco Partners tying to reach or maintain a certain partnership level.

    For instance, let’s say you are a Gold Partner. You will need 4 CCIEs on staff X number of CCNP etc. However, there will also be requirements with regards to these sales certs and who holds them. Certain ones will have to be acquired by a CCIE others by the CCNP/DP/NA and so forth.

    They do appear under your certification history. Also, I've never seen specific study materials for them.
