DHCP Snooping - shared storage

All,
Just getting started back in certs after a good while here.
I am still rebuilding my lab, so I can't test this at the moment. But I noticed that you can store the DHCP snooping databases on a tftp/http/ftp site. Can I have multiple switches share that same databases somehow? What advantages other than storage space does remote storage offer?
