Best infosec cert for software professional?

Hi All,
I am new to this forum, this may have been asked earlier and I could not get a convincing answer when I searced the web. I am a software person, been in the field web development for the last 2.5 yrs, I am interested in moving on to infosec, Please suggest a certification that would help me make this transition and also is it a wise move keeping in mind that i want to move into IT management?
