I am using Fedora 16 to learn about Linux in General and to help prepare for the Red-Hat Exam. You Tube has some great videos and there are some great pay site like CBT Nuggets and VTC that have some great products to learn about Linux

Linux+ is really an entry level certification, but if you're new to Linux, I would suggest this certification before moving on to Red Hat certifications. If you have "some" Linux experience, I would dive into the Red Hat certifications (RHCSA -> RHCE). What I really like about the Red Hat exams, is that it's not your typical multiple choice exam, it's a performance-based exam where you will have a live Red Hat system in-front of you to complete task.
This question is asked a lot on here, so try searching through some of the older threads..they might help with other questions you may have. Good luck!
