I am wanting to get Security + and Network +, I have been engulfed with college and getting my Computer Info Systems degree so I am completely out of the loop with the latest news on CompTIA certifications.
I looked on their website and seen they are retiring Network + N10-004. My question is: will the current study materials that is currently available cover what the new test is going to cover? I have created a ticket at CompTIA with the same question / concern but oddly enough I havent recieved anything in response.
Any other input on this would be greatly appreciated

The current version of CompTIA Network+, exam code N10-005, was released Dec. 1, 2011. The revised objectives address virtual networking and give increased attention to network security and coverage of the seven-layer OSI (Open System Interconnection) model.
