Smart Init is disabled. IOMEM set to: 10 Using iomem percentage: 10
Hello All,
Not sure where to ask this. I was working on my 2611xm router, and the default IOS that came with it was
c2600-ipbase-mz.124-25d.bin
This image unfortunately doesn't support SSH. Therefore, I searched for the specific IOS that supports SSH and is compatible with the 2611xm (i used this site: Cisco Feature Navigator - Cisco Systems)
The IOS suggested on tool.cisco.com, and the one that I installed is:
c2600-ipbasek9-mz.124-25c.bin
After updating the flash with this above image, every time I reload/reboot the router, I get this:
Smart Init is disabled. IOMEM set to: 10
Using iomem percentage: 10
Searching for a solution hasn't been a successful attempt as I'm seeing all sorts of responses. I just want to get rid of it or enable this. The router works fine, should I just leave it as is?
I also read that it happens when non-compatible IOS are installed, however, I know that this image is the right one as its suggest by Cisco.
Any advice/suggestions will be appreciated.
Regards.
