Linux+

Just wondering if you guys would consider adding a practice test or some notes for the Linux+ exam. I'm sure they'd be greatly appreciated.

I guess that if we ask nicely and can find someone to assist with things that webmaster wouldn't object too much about starting a Linux+ part of the forum. Unfortunately before a practice test and study notes are posted he would need to get someone to write them - may take a little while, but I think that it could happen - lets ask aye?

Well, adding a Linux+ forum takes only a couple of mouse clicks. The practice exams and TechNotes are a different story. The 'linux' I know is just enough to be able to run this server, perhaps 2 or 3% of the exam objectives, if I would have to write them myself I would have to do a lot of research and study first, the time needed for that I rather spend on more popular exams, which I currently do. Same goes for the money I invest in tech writers.
Nevertheless, the goal is to have something for every single IT certification exam, which definitely includes Linux+. So... sure, I'll see if I can find somebody to write a couple of dosen questions for the Linux+ exam, and then I'll add a Linux+ forum as well, hoping we can find a knowledgeable moderator for it. I just invested in a new test engine for the site, which should be online within 2 weeks, and partly because of that I do want to invest more in different practice exams.
As for Linux+ TechNotes, maybe later this year, but since its currently better for the site to invest in more popular exams, I think we'll have to wait for a volunteer to write those.
If you would really like a Linux+ forum now, just let me know... I'll reply on this post when I found someone to write the questions.
