IP address Managment

HI,

I am looking for some advice.

In the past I have used VitalQIP (VitalQIP DNS/DHCP IPAM Software & Appliance | Alcatel-Lucent) for IP/dns/dhcp managment. Mostly in very large orginisatons.

I was wondering if any one has any other products that I might consider, while QIP is a great product I was wondering if there are any cheaper options. I am looking for a solution that will make it vvery easy for the helpdesk staff to move IP address around devices and keep track of what is in use

We use ipplan, which is free. It has worked well for us.

Does IP PLAN allow you to make DHCP changes from it? or is it only a reporting tool ? telling you what is there ?
