sip trunk with cme

Does anyone know on cme what is the maximum number of simultaneous sessions per SIP trunk.

    Depends on the hardware and how many you buy from the carrier. A T1 using SIP can do close to 50 calls depending on the codec.

    hw would probably be a 2811 and looking for a single trunk line.

    Let me rephrase myself what is the maximum simultaneous calls capable using cme on a sip trunk. Can't seem to find documentation on it.

    My guess would be that it would be dependant on the codec used (I use G729 to my ISP) and the bandwidth of the trunk.

    there isnt... the number of concurrent calls depends on your provider and the codec you're using.. it isnt really dependent on the hardware other than what the dsp's can do..
