70-270 questions?!?!

hello everyone i just finished my a+ and i have mt 70-270 next friday
i heared MS asks about sp2 and bluetooth -does anyone know what they ask about these topics?

I did the 270 exam last year and I didn't get any questions on those subjects ....

doesn't mean you won't though!

I did not get anything like that on my exam, but that does not mean you will not. I would suggest doing a search in google and microsoft about Service pack 2 and bluetooth as that will be enough info for you to complete those requirements prob. good luck

I had both bluetooth and SP2 firewall questions in my exam that i had this week.

In relation to Bluetooth make sure you know what a PAN is and uderstand how bluetooth devices detect each other using discovery ( user and computer discovery )

with SP2 most will surround the security center and windows firewall.
- find out about GPO changes relating to the firewall
- understand how to allow a service through the firewall (messaging & remote assitance )
- understand what they mean by exceptions
- understand how the firewall now works compared to the previous one i.e it denies all incoming trafic which does not have a outgoig request and is not related to the exceptions.

Also changes to IE security settings

All this stuff you should be able to find on the web and the MS website.

Dont forget changed options with Recovery console like you can not install it anymore, must be run from cd-rom, plus the two DEP protocols... Both from SP2
