Hi

I'm posting here due to concerns regarding the project module of the course. I'm interested in pursuing the direct entry final year for the degree mentioned in the title. I'm from a country within the EU and I can do it through a 3rd party institute (online) from my own country.

Since I have BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computer Networks, I am planning on taking the Information Technology Award by choosing the following modules:
  • (Core for IT) Strategic Information Systems Planning and Management
  • Computer Network Protocols and Architectures
  • Databases
  • (Core for IT) Information Systems Project

As mentioned before, my concern is about the project. I've been given a sheet which gives a brief description, yet not enough about the Information Systems Project. I definitely don't want the project to involve any programming languages such as Java or .Net stuff, due to the fact I've always chose to study mainly networking related subjects (incl database management).

Can anyone who knows about this or has done the degree himself/herself shed some light on this? Maybe an example of what is expected from you for this project.

Thanks in advance!
