Quick question folks, are the config maximums on the test? I'm prepping as well as I can but asking as I dont want any surprises on Saturday. Thanks!

    I saw a couple questions.
    IT guy since 12/00

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

I don't remember seeing it asked directly. It's a good idea to scan through it a few times and remember the more common ones like vmfs5 max size, VM RAM allocation, etc.

Almost every direct answer would probably vioalte the NDA, but having VCP3,4 and 5 myself I can tell you that you won't see them to the extend you'd experienced in VCP3 ... If you wouldn't know any maximums but you ace the rest, you'd pass :p

Good luck on Saturday! It wouldn't hurt to know some of the more useful and real life applicable ones but I wouldn't recommend losing any sleep over it.

Here's my review of the exam, I didn't get a single question where a maximum number was the answer: VMware Training and Certification: Exam review - VCP5
    VCP2 / VCP3 / VCP4 / VCP5 / VCAP4-DCA / VCI / vExpert 2010-2012
