what is a typical day as a "BLANK"? sys admin, help desk etc.

What kind of growth opportunities at you company?

What makes your company different from "relevant competitor"? like cisco different from juniper

    I always ask "What did you like the most about the person who did this job previously? What did you like the least?"

    I also ask about dress code. Mostly because I really enjoy being able to wear flip-flops to work.

    If you go into an interview without questions prepared, you've done it wrong. I always prepare a list, and as my questions get answered I cross them off, so that I know what's left to ask when the opportunity presents itself.

    I always ask about the company's revenue model and sales strategy. I like to be comfortable that the company is profitable and has a sustainable business model. Also if my prospective manager is not able to articulate why the business is a good opportunity, that would be a huge red flag.
