I've been looking at the 2522 for a frame relay switch... why are they so bloody expensive? I do have a spare 2610 that I can put an NM-8A/S module in that'll achieve the same thing. I just can't see why they're so expensive.

Somnipotent Member Posts: 3842610s can be found for 10-20 bucks on ebay and craigslist. Since you already have one, a NM 8AS will run you about 30-40 bucks, you can get yourself a a frame switch for a fraction of the price. I use cheap 2650XMs I found on criagslist for my AS, FRS, and BBs. Don't need anything fancy. And please, no skinning of furry animals.Reading: Internetworking with TCP/IP: Principles, Protocols, and Architecture (D. Comer)

I bought a couple 2620s for about $30 each shipped on ebay and then a loaded 3640 that came loaded with cards, including nm-4a/s and two wic-1ts for $252015 goals - ccna voice / vmware vcp.
