Setting up and Configuring a Web Server

Need to configure and setup a web server, got no idea where to start, please help...

    Put the finished webpage in a directory on the server. Make sure your server has a public ip or mapped to a public ip through a firewall. Host it through Internet Information Services. Create a new site in IIS & assign the proper IP you want to use & proper permissions & point the website to your website in your servers directory.
