Passed MTA 98-349 & 98-367 Os & security Fundamentals yesterday..

I must say taking these MTAs are a big of leg work. Not a lot of test centers offer them. but i was able to book these two last night and pass them. The security fundamentals was a bit tough but i passed with a 81. I may take windows server next.

    you have to go to certiport.com and buy a voucher.. the vouchers are 47.00... 75.00 at the test center without voucher.

    They are under my WGU curriculum. I figured I could just walk in and pass them and I did. I just want to take the hard stuff at WGU like CCNA and MCTS exams. I figure I should do alot of the fundamentals stuff out my own pocket. So far I have 4 out of the 12 certs under my curriculum.

    How hard was the OS and security ones?

    i've got 7.5 years exp working help desk/NOC server support. I would think the OS one would be a breeze... and maybe the Security and Networking fundamentals since i've studied CCNA and currently have Net+.

    I would think that would be enough since these are super entry level certs.

    I have the same idea as you, but i'm trying to knock out 70-640 and its taking longer then expected, i would like to get some of these out of the way especially if i could walk in and pass them. It would be nice if i could walk in and pass 1 or 2 of the required MTAs that would add some wind in my sails and push me to finish 70-640.

    sounds like a plan. you should be able to walk in and pass these... The server one is a bit tougher.
