On my packet tracer, I configured two cisco routers with frame relay and it works fine.
I changed the encapsulation of Router A to ietf (Router B still Cisco). Do a ping test and works!!
I read cisco supports this mismatch.
But what if Router A was not a cisco router. A non-cisco router configured with IETF. will it still works?
Why does the first scenario work?
