Taking the test, a week from today
So I've passed a Net+ class in school, last spring.. and i've been reading the Exam Cram book the past few weeks. Right now I'm going over the proprofs.com Net+ study guide
Comptia Network+ Study Guide - Proprofs
I also plan to use some flashcards this weekend with an app I have on my phone...
I was planning to take it in August, but after I purchased the voucher I found out the only available time that was near me, was next week.. SO I'm CRAMMING.
Any ground I may not be covering? I'm feeling pretty good about it so far. Thanks!

bigkaspi Member Posts: 7 ■□□□□□□□□□Just got back, I passed! 755! Not the best score but hey.. pretty good for jamming the majority of that information in my brain within a week. Mostly.. the past 4 days.
Ports are a must
Router protocols probably should've covered more in depth
Glad I went over and memorized Ethernet standards, lengths, bandwidth...
Ahh I'm just so glad I passed
Now what do I go for?!? I took the Sec+ class last spring.. -
Darril Member Posts: 1,588Congrats on the pass. If you have the Network+ and Security+, do you have an idea about what you enjoy?
One path is Microsoft such as with the 70-680 exam.
Another path is Cisco such as with CCNA. -
bigkaspi Member Posts: 7 ■□□□□□□□□□Well I'm currently taking classes for an associates in Systems security, which interests me. But here I am still trying to get a handle on in depth networking. I have one friend in security telling me to go CCNA, I have another friend in networking telling me to MCITP..
GAHH!! ahaha..
