Saw that today, time to gear up for Win 8 Exams. Anyone heard about the touch screen hardware for Windows 8. Apart from the Surface not hearing much on the hardware side

I think that is the GA release date not RTM. RTM is sometime next month.

What I read was that is when the new computers with Win8 are available, and when we can all order the $40.00 upgrades (if you are so inclined to do so).

Windows 8 is done and will be available through MSDN and TechNet on August 15th.
