Hi,
I have got one of these adapters, going to be using it from monday onwards but I havent got any cisco hardware to do a dummy run before then. Does anyone have any experience with these?
This is what I get at the moment.
Drivers have installed correctly, when I plug it in it appears in 'device manager' like so:
Ports (COMs and LPT) -> Prolific USB-to-Serial...(COM4)
And in HyperTerminal COM4 now appears and I can setup a connection (but of course there is nothing at the other end of the blue cable).
Is this now up and running or is there anything else I have to do? Some reviews of these adapters have mentioned having to assign a port for it, but has that happened automatically?
Cheers for any help
