312-50 compared to ECO-350

I am starting to study for the CEH exam. I was wondering does 312-50 and ECO-350 use the same questions but one is for those who went and took a class and the other is for self study? The topics are the same, the price is the same. Any feed back would be much appreciated

I also thought ECO350 was for those who were doing self study. If self study can take 312-50 whats the point of ECO350?
