Scapy in general isn't that difficult to learn but does require some development skill to implement. Other than that, I only know of one person who has taught this class in the past. No, I do not remember her name. Probably why your having difficulty with the course work.

If you want to study Scapy, check out "Security Tool Power" book. It has a separate section about Scapy, very detail.
