DHCP server problem

I'm having a problem with a server at work. The DHCP service has stopped working and very time I restart the service it states that it has no work to do and it stops again.
I've restarted the server and reinstalled DHCP but it still does it. I have nodes hooked up to it so I don't know what is going on. Has this happened to anyone before?
Thanks.

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminIf you already authorized it and that isn't the problem, I think you will find the solution by searching for the event nr or description in the MS knowledgebase as you are likely not the first one to encounter this problem.I have nodes hooked up to it so I don't know what is going on.

DHCP starting....
DHCP stopping
Auth failed....
Look for such an entry, then authorize dhcp and restart the serviceWhat next? -
shadown7 Member Posts: 529Ok, I checked the event log and this I found two errors that keep repeating after the server tries to restart DHCP.
The DHCP service failed to start as a RPC server. The following error occurred :
Not enough resources are available to complete this operation.
he DHCP Server service terminated with the following error:
Not enough resources are available to complete this operation.
It just starts and then stops.
I've uninstalled the service and then reinstalled it but it still is not working.
Thanks for the help so far. -
jmc724 Member Posts: 415If your dhcp server is auth in AD, you will see a green arrow next to the server name. If is not auth, you will see a red X close to the server name, also make sure that your scopes are activated. What next?
