TACACS ports

Darril has a question in his book that asks what the difference between TACACS and TACACS+ is, with the answer being that TACACS uses both TCP & UDP ports 49 and TACACS+ using only TCP port 49. I just wanted to verify the ports used by TACACS as he doesn't say it uses anything but UDP49 in his book and I can't find anything that says it uses TCP49 as well

I always thought TACACS used UDP and TACACS+ used TCP and that was it. Again, I'm sure that Darril is right, I just like to verify these things.
