Good day to all here....Per advice of a friend,I would like to learn more about virtualization(especially since our technology dept has tech/admin who are being guided into this subject and I'm gonna have a heads up) I've seen a few tutorials on YouTube and have registered at Vmware for a free online lesson. And the my basic understanding puts me in the mindset of subinterfaces(1 physical interface configured with 100's of sub-interfaces aka routing-on-a-stick).
Could I get some reference material b/c Google turns up different vendors for VM,instead of the idea behind the concept,so what better place o come than the Virtualization section of TechExams?
Thanks...........

Out of the current companies working with virtualization, VMware seems to be on top. It's definitely a good area to get into if it interests you! -

iwannaknowIT Member Posts: 111Just downloaded/installed Oracle VM for Linux.....installed Windows XP just for goofin' around purposes and this virtualization "thing" is pretty cool. But I don't want to get sidetracked from my ICND2 studies,so I'll tinker with it every so often until I pass my 2 and then I'll look into a class for virtualization or better yet keep my hard earned money and grab any/every thing I can find online......
Thanks to all............
