I followed the link earlier to the MSDN site but I needed a subscriber ID

What exactly is it you are asking ? This is not a warez site

If you want a MSDN / Technet copy - buy a subscription .. Or wait until September and buy it in the shop - you won't get a free pirated copy here .. You should know that by now .. being member for 7 years and all that

As of right now it is only available to a select few groups. The MSDN download requires paid memebership to login and donload. Dreamspark might work if you have an edu e-mail address.
