I am considering preparing and taking the MCP XP test. How many questions and time limit? Is it the same format as CompTia? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

First things first. Comptia and Microsoft exams are very different. The Microsoft exams seem to be very lengthy in their questions where as the Comptia ones are not. As for exam length I think its about 90 mins and about 50 questions but that can vary from person to person. The passing score is 750.

Good luck on whatever you decide. :D

Passed 270 with a score of 905. Failed it once before and almost just gave up. Good thing i didn't. Now to tackle the 290 again for the third time. Missed passing by a few points last time.

Thanks MS. gbagirl, I wanted to get a feel as to what the test would be like. I thought it would be different from CompTia. Are the questions multiple choice or a mix?
